Pre-Sale and Short-Stay Owners

A green or neglected pool is a problem you can't hide in real estate photography or in short-stay listings. Lumen's recovery service is available at short notice, with a fixed-fee quote before work begins and photo confirmation when the pool is swim-ready.

How we operate

What "professional pool service" actually means in practice.

These aren't aspirations. They're the operating standard for every Lumen visit.

On time

Your service visit is confirmed 24 hours ahead. If anything changes on our end, you hear from us before your scheduled window, not after it passes.

In uniform

Every Lumen technician arrives in a branded uniform and a marked vehicle. This matters in suburbs like Toorak and Kew. Your neighbours, tenants, and household staff should be able to identify who's in the backyard.

Photo confirmed

After every service, a photograph of the pool is sent to your mobile or email along with a brief written report. Water chemistry readings, anything flagged, next visit date. You don't need to be home.

Fully insured

All Lumen technicians are fully insured for public liability. We work in private residential properties and the homes of property management clients. Insurance is not optional and is not something you should have to ask about.

Fixed-fee quotes

For green pool recovery and equipment repairs, pricing is confirmed before work begins. For ongoing maintenance, your service fee is agreed upfront. There are no additional chemical bills.

Professionally trained

Our technicians are trained in pool water chemistry and equipment maintenance. They use digital testing equipment and record readings visit to visit, which means we track trends rather than respond to problems after they're visible.

Where we work

Six suburbs. That's the boundary.

Lumen Pool Care services Toorak, South Yarra, Armadale, Malvern, Hawthorn, and Kew, plus the adjacent streets of Malvern East, Hawthorn East, Kew East, Camberwell, Glen Iris, and Prahran. We don't service all of Melbourne because we can't do that well. A technician who drives from Williamstown to Ringwood in a single day is rushed and reactive. A technician who spends the day between Toorak and Hawthorn is consistent. This boundary isn't a constraint, it's the reason the service works.

From first enquiry to first visit. Here's how it works.

Submit an enquiry or call

Tell us your suburb, pool type, and what you need. Fortnightly maintenance, green pool recovery, equipment service, or not sure yet, all of that is fine to discuss.

We confirm your quote

Pricing is confirmed on the first call or message, fixed fee before we start anything. For green pool recovery, we may ask for a photo of the pool to give an accurate quote.

Your first visit is scheduled

We confirm your service window and send a reminder the day before. First visits include a pool condition assessment, we'll tell you what we find and what we recommend.

04

Ongoing service from there

Most clients move onto a fortnightly schedule after the first visit. You'll receive a photo report after every service. If anything changes, you hear from us first.
